Background and Education

Dennis Dozier Sr. received a B.S. in Economics from Georgia Southern College in 1976. He was named to Omicron Delta Epsilon and Phi Kappa Phi academic honor societies. Dennis followed this with an MBA from the University of Georgia in Athens in 1978. He was named to both the Beta Gamma Sigma and Sigma Iota Epsilon academic honor societies while at the University of Georgia.

After receiving his MBA, Dennis Sr. worked in agri-business management in southwest Georgia until 1992 when he enrolled in law school at the University of Georgia. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia in Athens in 1995, cum laude, and passed the Georgia Bar that summer. Dennis Sr., his wife Mary Lowell, and their three children moved to Rincon, Georgia in the summer of 1995, and he began the practice of law in a firm in Rincon.

Dozier Law, P.C. Founded in 1999

Dennis Sr. founded Dozier Law, PC in Rincon in 1999, opening a general law practice. In the early years, Dennis Sr. practiced law and Mary Lowell helped with many of the administrative and bookkeeping functions. The practice grew over the years and now has three attorneys and four support staff. Dennis Sr., and the firm, focus in the following areas of the law; Family Law, Bankruptcy, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Wills, Trusts & Estates, and Civil Litigation.

A History of Fighting Hard for His Clients

Dennis Sr. has handled over 1,500 cases during thirty years as an attorney. He has argued cases in front of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and many cases in Georgia District Courts. Whether cases are settled, mediated, or litigated in the courts, Dennis works tirelessly on behalf of his clients. He is known as a tough negotiator who will fight hard for the rights of his clients to obtain the best possible outcome.

Proud Parent and Grandparent

Dennis Sr. and Mary Lowell are the proud parents of three children, Dennis Jr., Adam, and Savannah. Dennis Jr. and Adam are attorneys at Dozier Law, and Savannah is the co-owner of a marketing communications firm based in Rincon. Dennis Sr. and Mary Lowell have 6 grandchildren, and he has to work very hard not to spoil them. He has been a lifelong golfer and still gets out to the course when he can squeeze in a round. He and Mary Lowell enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, going to sports events and other activities, and look forward to their annual summer trip to Myrtle Beach.
